Living on the Edge Greeting Card by Russell Johnson
Russell is an avid hiker of the Grand Canyon, venturing into its depths for a few days at a time. This painting represents a trip on the Tanner Trail more roughly half way to the Colorado River. A scraggly juniper tree, wind-swept and weathered, was perched on a cliff edge seemingly defying all logic for an ideal growing place. The sun was setting on the distant limestone cliffs, illuminated in warmth.
