When I grow up I want to be… Every kid has a dream of what they want to be when they grow up. Most firefighters know from early on what their calling is! This charming firefighter frame was made just for that reason. It’s one of a kind, made in collaboration with our customer. Check it out!
We love projects like this at The Frame & I, where you bring us your idea and we help make it a reality. Each frame we make is a collaboration with our customers, and every one is as unique as they are! Our joy is to bring it all together and make something that you will want to keep in your family for generations.
Our adorable firefighter frame was made entirely out of reclaimed fence wood, which we then painted and distressed by hand. We gold leaf the stars so they shine brightly. The little toy firetruck is attached with hardware so it won’t fall off. The brass plate was made by our friend Kurt at Raskin’s awards and trophies. We also scanned, enlarged and printed the photo for our customer! Full service with a smile. Everything behind UV filtering glass to keep it from fading in the harsh Arizona sun, or under those pervasive pigtail fluorescent bulbs.
Do you know someone who had a big dream as a little kid? Bring us your pictures and memorabilia and we’ll help you create the perfect memento to cherish them with.
