We are respectively the manager and owner of the Frame & I. Our passion is in the visual arts and we’ve had a great working relationship for over 20 years! Each of us has our own unique style and approach to fine art. We’re looking forward to sharing it with you!
We’ll open at 10am, close at 7pm. Artist demos will be happening 4-7pm.
Russell Johnson is a native Arizonan, and his palette knife paintings have been collected nationwide! His expressive colors and buttery textures create a visual impression of Arizona and southwestern landscapes. He has an incredibly immediate style to his work that is fun to watch come to life.
Through his artwork, he finds outlets to release expressions of nature’s grandeur.
Russell is an award winning artist and has paintings in private and museum collections.
Ida Woll creates works in many mediums; for this evening she’ll be working with colored pencils and pen & ink. Her work tends toward fantasy and surrealism, with a strong emphasis on nature, flora and fauna.
Russell and I look forward to doing this demo for you! Make sure to bring your questions about our work and our process. It’s going to be a great time!
