Prescott Landscape Artist Russell Johnson is an Arizona native landscape painter. Through his artwork, he finds outlets to release expressions of nature’s grandeur.

Russell is an award winning artist and has paintings in private and museum collections.

Russell exhibits his work at The Frame & I Gallery in Prescott, AZ where he actively participates in shows. Russell has acquired his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona in May of 2003. Also, he completed a Master of Arts (Visual Arts) degree at Prescott College in 2011.

Russell grew up in Prescott, AZ and enjoyed the closeness of the outdoors. Today, he is an avid hiker, seeking out trails to explore. On these explorations, Russell photographs, sketches, and paints plein air subjects for future studio paintings.
